Industry Overview

The hiring agency industry has been around for more than twenty five years. They have become an important part of efficient hiring. Many companies prefer the use of hiring agencies because they save a lot of time and money. The industry serves in hiring temporary and permanent positions. It also serves in hiring anywhere from entry level jobs to CEO’s.

Company History

StilSim began twenty five years ago when it was opened by Rusty Silham and Bill Simmons. StilSim serves in hiring temporary and permanent positions. It also serves in hiring anywhere from entry level jobs to CEO’s. They currently have three locations that they service.

Don Wilson is an ex employee of StilSim, who went on to create his own business. Don Wilson’s company is now a competitor. However, his company only services the healthcare industry.

Current Situation

StilSim currently fills entry level and permanent jobs. They are suffering a decline in areas that businesses are moving to suburbs, as StilSim has not followed the job market. In recent years, revenues have been going down, while expenses are going up, which has made the income go down.

Perhaps the biggest problem StilSim is facing is a lack of leadership. This is shown as there is a lot of backstabbing in the offices which has depleted office moral. They are also using outdated ways of doing business, which is cause by their “this is how we do things” attitude. StilSim has not adapted to the
