TABLE CLOTHES

• Quality: Medium to Good quality of Linen (depending on the Hotel). The guests are in direct contact with this linen, they will touch it, feel it so it has to be soft with a good quality, cheapest one are made of Polyester but most of the table clothes on the market are made of Cotton. For very good quality, a special quality of cotton exists, it is the cotton from Egypt, much better quality but very expensive. Good quality means softness and resistance throughout the time. Washable at 30 degrees or 90 for white ones.

• Dimension: depends on the table. For a 72 inch diameter table, use a 120 Inch diameter tablecloth: 8-10 seats, the drop will be ¾ way to the floor. For rectangular tables: For a 8ft x 30 Inch table, chose a 60 x 126 tablecloth, the drop will be ½ way to the floor

• Recommended Brand: Le Jacquard Français/ Yves Delorme for the best brands (French). Another company (Swiss): Leinenweberei Bern AG: “Swiss quality textiles meet the highest standards in the world”. ( http://www.lwbern.ch, 20th Sept. 2012) For the logo it is not necessary to have a logo especially if you rent your linen.

NAPKINS

• Quality: The quality depends on the Hotel of course but usually it is preferable to choose a good quality of napkins, because of the touching contact with the guest, softness and quality required. From Polyester to Cotton or even Egyptian cotton for luxury napkins. Easily washable especially for white colors ( 60 to 95⁰c).

• Colors & Decoration: Possible decorative value and color even if white is the most common one.

• Dimensions: 17 Inches large / 20 Inches large /22 Inches large

• Recommended Brand: Le Jacquard Francais/ Yves Delorme / Leinenweberei Bern AG (CH) or even the Lavotel Elis wh is a Swiss brand based in Nyon

TEA TOWELS

Linen is the traditional fiber for tea towels, since it can be used to dry delicate plates and silverware without the risk of scratching.It is one of the oldest woven fabrics in human history. Made of fibers from the flax plant, this material was once considered suitable only for royalty. Purple linen was the material for a king’s robe. The Bible mentions coverings of this material used in the Tabernacle and the Temple, and references to “fine linen” are found throughout.
