Introduction

• Leadership is about change: vision, inspire, empower, coach, revenues, forecasts, possibilities, opportunity and synergy

• Leadership as a function of three elements: leader, followers and situation

• Leadership is a key to aligning organizational systems and follower behavior around a new organizational vision.

• Leaders: innovate, develop, inspire, long-term view, ask what and why, originate, challenge status-quo, do the right things

• Charismatic leader: passionate, paint compelling vision of the future, generate high levels of excitement and build strong emotional attachments

• Leader: Create environment within which followers’ innovation and creative contributions thrive; encourage growth and development in their followers, More interested in the big picture of followers’ work;

• Leaders tend to assess followers’ performance in terms of holistic, personal, idiosyncratic, or intuitive criteria, actively change situations they are in , rather than just optimize their group’s adaptation to it; forever move outside the constraints of structure; Emphasizes change; Solve adaptive problems (discovering new ways).

Leaders should have this ability to represent characteristic to their follower to make them enthusiastic for pursuing them and also give them trust feeling. They should rallies their teams when the going become harsh. As I worked in web company I have problem to motivate others to pursue my lead in calm environment so I think I should improve my knowledge about my team members’ skills and goals, then in time of organizing workload in regarding to each members skills, offer them specific tasks, this action cause the staff improve their skills as well as their effectiveness in my team.

Visioning process

Leaders should provide more effort to enhance the productivity in the parts which require the most development. They should apply and put goals (vision) and also by affecting teams to put objectives and pursue the process, achieve commitment. Leader should strengthen change via acceptance and implementation it. The leaders, by exploiting personal control should understand the environments and have an effect on subordinates. For achieving this goal I should create a positive environment by focusing on challenges and opportunities instead of problems’ also should do expresses recognition and genuine, heartfelt appreciation for work well done.
