I believe learning is ultimately the responsibility of the individual no matter what the situation may be. Unless one feels a strong sense of responsibility in the learning process it will not be successful. This is my belief and prior to undertaking this course I have never put much emphasis on my particular learning style. I did not have a set time table for study or set a particular time for study each week.

Since undertaking this subject however this has changed as I have refocus my priorities amidst the everyday stresses of full time work, kids, family and hectic schedule and chaos that comes with it. Prior to undertaking this subject I have studied any free time I had but there is a down side to this as I did not feel motivated to study all the time but had to as this was the only available time but not all the information was processed due to the many distractions. This time around I was able to draw more intelligent conclusions about my particular learning style and decided to set time early each morning to study. I felt this was the best time of the day as it was peace and quite with the kids asleep and felt mentally alert and refreshed this time of the day after a good nights sleep. This has been my pattern this study period and I think it has worked quite well as I am able to process more information and improve my learning capacity due to less interruptions.

When I was young my parents always tried to instil in me that morning is the best time to study and an hour of study in the morning is equable to two hours of study any other time of the day, unfortunately I have not been able to follow their advise during my latest study tenure due to other pressing commitments.

My learning or information absorbing style too has changed this time, where as previously I have tried just read the text
