Executive Summary
India experiences wide range of weather conditions across a vast geographic scale and varied topography. Though the Tropic of Cancer—the boundary between the tropics and subtropics—passes through the middle of India, the bulk of the country can be regarded as climatically tropical. As in much of the tropics, most part of India receives fair amount of scorching heat, strong winds along with heavy rainfalls.
The above factors can be easily avoided with a good quality umbrella. The umbrella has remained practically unchanged throughout thousands of years and has survived through literature, art, fashion, religion, royalty, popular culture, and so much more because it has always proven useful and necessary to human beings. The umbrella fulfills the necessity we have for comfort, shelter, protection and convenience.
This provides an opportunity and market to manufacture umbrellas. But, the market is already swamped with hundreds of manufacturers and all of these products have one thing which is common- they all FLIP.
So, we present such a product to the market which gives us a chance to fix this problem - a uniquely designed umbrella which doesn’t flip, a STORMBELLA. Well, the idea here is to create and provide a product so that people are not getting soaked trying to flip their umbrella back to its proper position.
