Dear Members of the CGCC Executive Board,
We are writing to express our interest in the Columbia Case Competition - 2016. We believe this would be a great platform to showcase our analytical and research capabilities and our ability to collaborate effectively as a team. We look at this as a chance to challenge our limits, apply critical thinking skills and explore an avenue for new learning.
Our team shares a skillset derived from backgrounds in Chemical, Marine and Electronics & Communications Engineering and having been exposed to a distinctive set of life-experiences, each team member has a unique approach while dealing with a situation. We bring together a global perspective having worked with various nationalities in several countries. Sri Abbirami Gnanasekaran has worked in project management and software development roles to effectively recommend and optimize processes for Bank of America – Infosys. Sai Aditya Kolluru was a Marine Engineer with 2 years of experience at Shell as an operations and troubleshooting engineer in the energy industry with a focus on LNG trade.
This invaluable opportunity would enable us to pit ourselves against some of the best minds in the academic world and the knowledge and experience that we gain would be immense. Working on a real world business case and competing on a professional level would broaden our perspectives and sample consulting work. The competition being judged by the world’s leading consulting firms would give an opportunity to interact with industry stalwarts and help us gauge the depth of our current skills and the journey we need to undertake to bridge the gap.
Thank you for your time and we look forward to hear from you.
