- EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Starting a business is one of the most inspiring things a person can do. But unfortunately, a few bad decisions and some poor breaks and it can also be one of the most stressful and disappointing events in a person's life and a complete waste of time and money.
Tabajujak General Merchandise is a seven years business that offer a wide array of products or general merchandise and services that includes non-food or non-grocery products such as school supplies, toys, household consumables, health and beauty care, gifts, gift cards, stationaries, party needs, cleaning tools, office products, children’s art supplies, jewelry, e-load business, printing and photocopy service. It is located in #96 E. Angeles St. Sto. Tomas, Pasig City.
Tabajujak expects to catch the interest of a regular loyal customer base with its cheap and good quality products. The owner plans to build a strong market position in the barangay, due to the mild competitive in the area. It aims to offer its product at a competitive price, a price can afford by the customers in the area.
The business is owned and managed by Ms. Christy Corpuz, there is no partnership involvement. She has an ideas and information’s in marketing and managing business that comes from her learning in Rizal Technological University when she’s in tertiary level. The course she taken up is Bachelor of Science and Business Administration major in Marketing Management. Ms. Christy Corpuz has an experience in the area of finance and administration when she works at Makati City for 3 years. Tabajujak don’t need to hire a helper because she can assist customers by herself and sometimes her cousin helped in assisting customers when it doesn’t have duty in work.
Tabajujak products are being bought in Binondo and Divisoria where the owner could buy a wholesale line of non-food products and sell through retail in her store. The owner has assured that all products she gets from the supplier are good enough to say that it has a good quality. They get their supplies weekly, most likely every Saturday morning.
The owner wants to establish a large regular customer base whether it has a competitors near the location of her business, and will therefore concentrate its business and marketing on local residents, which will be the dominant target market who is the students in their barangay. This will establish a healthy, consistent revenue base to ensure stability of the business.
The owner’s advice is you should have passion, excitement or motivation and faith. If you don't love what you do, if you don't put passion in it, and feel motivated to wake up early in the morning, that business will never grow. It will find a way to survive in time but will never grow. It also need an excellent result so we need to think wisely, plan accordingly, and execute effectively to collect an excellent result. Be sure you love what you do, because you'll be spending a lot of time doing it.
