Organisation Background
Nestle (Malaysia) Bhd (Nestle Malaysia) is one of leading provider of quality food products in Malaysia. Nestle began as Anglo-Swiss condensed milk company in 1912 in Penang, and later in 1939 expansion and growth made a move to Kuala Lumpur. Since establishing its first factory in 1962 in Petaling Jaya, Nestle products are now manufactured in 7 factories which are operated (controlled) from its head office in Mutiara Damansara.
On December 13th 1989 the company was publicly listed in the KLSE (Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange), Nestle now provides employment for over 5000 people and manufactures over 300 halal products.
Nestle Products
The major Nestle products are Instant noodles, Chocolate, Yogurt, Cereals, and also related products such as Ice cream, Liquid milk, powdered milk, Drinks and Instant coffee. Nestle also markets its products under several different brand names such as Milo, Nespray, Nescafe, Maggie, and Kit Kat.
