Executive summary

This proposal document provides for parking solution through a storied parking structure at Al Hosn University. Students have been wasting time in search of parking areas and they have been trying to get tickets to park in non-designated areas. The location of the parking structure will be close to the main gate to ensure smooth running of school without disruption. The four-storied parking structure will accommodate about 600 cars. The idea for this project is to increase the parking space for the increasing number of personal cars by students and members of staff and faculty, to replace the parking areas that have been lost over the years due to continued construction activities at Al Hosn University. The budget for the construction of the project is approximately $19.95.

1.0 Background information

1.1 Overview

Al Hosn University was established in 2005 in Abu Dhabi. It is segregated institution with distinct campuses for female and male students. According to Commission for Academic Accreditation (2015), Al Hosn University enrollment for the last five academic years is indicated in table. With the population of 1,500 students, the university requires the expansion of parking lot. Therefore, there is a serious problem concerning the parking space. There are no enough parking spaces and this makes students late for their classes as they find for spaces to park their cars.
