CASE STUDY1... REGARDING ACCOUNTING
1. Service Level- Vincent is expected to establish a Service Level Agreement on his drive through coffee delivery. The faster he delivers the more customers he is expected to service. Being a Drive Through, long queues and long waiting time will drive the customer away. Vincent is expected to establish a Marketing and Promotional Department. This department will him to promote the Drive Thru and establish a Market response on their delivery. These responses will help Vincent to establish his Service Level.
2. Cost Maintenance- Vincent will need to manage his cost especially his overhead cost efficiently. This will help him to maintain his coffee at a reasonable price. With proper cost management, a slight increase in cost, Vincent will still be able to maintain his coffee pricing or a minor price increase which will not bring much constraint to his customers. Vincent is required to establish a Finance Department. This will help him to have a proper costing and pricing of his service. This also will help Vincent in his forecasting with any new business or product that his wishes to market.
3. Quality Maintenance- Vincent is required to maintain the quality of his coffee. He needs to make sure that his staff got adequate training on delivering the service. Vincent is probably required to establish a Human Resource Department which can also doubles up as a Training Department.
4. Quality Raw Material- Vincent is required to establish a Purchasing and Vendor Management Department. This will help to maintain the delivery of quality raw material at a reasonable price. The vendor management will make sure the timely delivery of raw materials. This is very important to keep Vincent's business running.
