Research Questions

What is the factor that influences the declining number of customers coming in the clinic?

Research Problems

The number of customers coming to the clinic is decreasing.

Research Objectives

To determine what factors has influence the declining of customer coming to the clinic.

 1. (a)

(b)  Variable is anything that varies or changes from one instance to another or exhibit differences in value, usually in magnitude or strength, or in direction.

Dependent Variable – a process outcome or a variable that is predicted or explained by other variable

Eg: number of customers

Independent Variable – a variable that is expected to influence the dependent variable in some way

Eg: factors that influence the declining number of customers

(c) Define the population

The sampling method used to get representative sample are through survey, where large amount of data are collect from a sizeable population and standardize so that it is easy to compare.

The types of survey used are questionnaires (group administration or self-administration / mail administration or email administration / household drop off or delivery and collection) or structured interviews (personal face to face)

(d) Type of data that is suit the research objectives and how you collect the data

(e) Choosing proper statistical tools to analyse the data

3. Explain about the reliability and validity, and give illustrations of measuring instrument which are not reliable and not valid, reliable but not valid, not reliable but valid, and reliable and valid.

Research findings is reliability is when the results produced are the same in other occasions or the observations are similar when reached by other observers. Reliability also depends on the transparency of the raw data where the outcome is consistent and stable or repeated. Validity of a research findings are consider valid if and only of the findings are really about what they appear to be about. The research of findings is considered valid when an inference is correct or truthful.

Reliability is the consistency of your measurement instrument. It is the degree to which an instrument measures the same way each time it is used under the same condition with the same subjects. Measurement instrument are any tool that you use to measure. For instance, a meat thermometer is used to measure how hot the meat is or a scale is used to measure how heavy the apple is. The types of instrument you used depends on several factors, which is the ease of use, the accessibility, the appropriateness, the accuracy and the cost.
