Samsung’s vision itself states that they want to be one of the world’s top 5 companies. The company is achieving its vision through increasing their market share in each country. Samsung is one of the brands in phone industry who has majority of the market share in all over the world. They key rival is Apple Inc. which gives tough competition in all over the world. The Samsung had launched Samsung Note 4 on . There are many new features in Note 4 as compared to IPhone 6 and IPhone 6 Plus that amaze the market. Some of the features are as follows:-

  • S Pen – The Samsung Pen was really a new and most innovative concept when it was first launched in summers of 2011. The Note 4 Pen was different from others by their sensitivity of pressure which is now 2000. This is the key feature, others features are not innovative. It is approximately same which includes writing notes, cut, copy ,paste, drag and drop applications, images and others things.
  • Multitasking – The Samsung Note 4 will provide multitasking function where you can open multiple applications at the same time and use it accordingly.
  • Ultra power saving mode – The phone has a unique function which helps the users to operate their phone for a longer period of time when the phone’s battery is low. The Ultra Power Saving Mode helps to charge the phone’s capacity in 30 minutes and it will limit the number of activities but we can use some of the useful applications.
  • Samsung Selfies – The phone has the best features for the selfies. As the new trends selfies are rapidly growing, the phone had tried to give selfie lovers a high resolution front camera that is more than any other phone in the world i.e. 3.7 megapixels. The phone also has selfie mode that is better than anything else.

 As IPhone has become a cult brand and is popularly preferred by all the high class people who wants a status phone that can suit their standard of living or they can use it to show off their personality to their peer groups and relatives. IPhone 6 does not need to market them. IPhone always maintain their status and provide quality to their customers which made the most of the upper class society loyal to this brand. The features and services are increasing by each of their launches. The company launched the IPhone 6 and IPhone 6 plus on 17th October 2014. The prices are shown in the below table.

Though the IPhone 6 and IPhone 6 Plus was the costliest smartphone in the entire Indian market yet the craze for the phone did not fall down but increased. Within 6 hours, the IPhone had sold around 10 lakh handsets.

 The company had also made record in capturing the market share of Samsung hometown. Apple’s share in Korea was 33 percent that any foreign brand can have it maximum. There was not good supply of IPhone 6 and IPhone 6 Plus’ 64 GB and 128GB. If they had made good supply then the market share percent would reach up to 40 percent. Samsung’s market share falls to 46 percent in its own hometown country. No foreign brand had ever captured Korean market more than 20 percent but Apple had made people amazed and registers their record by capturing one-third of the market. Not only in Korea but also in japan and china the apple registered its record of market share with nearly 50 percent in japan and in 45 percent in china and growing.
