1.0 Executive Summary

Our company name is SCI Cabinet. The unique selling proposition of our company is Multifunction Wardrobe. Multifunction Wardrobe is a space saving cabinet because we combined wardrobe, customize adjustable shelves and dressing table into one. This is also a creative cabinet because it can design according to customers’ needs and requirement. We target the customers which are above 25 years old, the families and the newly-married couple. Although the youths nowadays will be attracted by our products, but yet they have no economic capabilities to buy the product so that we did not target youths as our target market. Our company had conducted an internal and external analysis by using the SWOT analysis and Porter’s Five Force Analysis to examine how intense the competition currently and future is in the marketplace. This report consist of the discussion of the recommendations for how to improve our product and solve the problems. Furthermore, we had planned to achieve our company’s vision and mission in order to transform our company to a better future and performance.

2.1 Vision

Our mission is to be the top ten cabinet manufacturer in Malaysia. When customers think about multifunction cabinet, SCI come out at the first in their mind.

2.2Mission

Our vision is:

  • To be creative and unique to make us different from competitors.
  • To be the first choice of customers by satisfying customers’ needs with creative cabinet.
  • To provide customers with fine craftsmanship cabinet.
  • To provide customers with quality customers services.
  • To fulfil the requirements of female customers which are own a multifunction wardrobes.


3.0 Plan of Operation

3.2 Description of Management Team

  • Leong Pei Yee as a Director

Ms Leong is responsible for the overall performance and growth of the organization. She is monitoring the overseas operation of the organization. She ensures that the company running smoothly, efficiently and accordingly with the plan to meet our company goal.

  • Sheila Boon as a Financial Manager

Ms Sheila is responsible for allocating the financial resources of an organization in a way that maximizes its wealth and profitability. She is responsible for knowing how much the product is expected to cost and how much revenue it is expected to earn so that she can invest the appropriate amount in the product. Besides, planning annual budget and preparing monthly budget report are the responsibilities of financial manager.

  • Ho Yu En as a Human Resource Manager

 Ms Ho is responsible for developing optimal solutions for employees’ issues. She is responsible for mastering the hiring process as well as providing employees with training programs. She need to supervise employees’ performance all the time to make sure profit of organization is maximized.
