The intense battle among Apple and Microsoft was the technological rivalry that shaped contemporary computing world. Not only Bill Gates but also Steve Jobs develop vision as well as personal computer by giving their enthusiasm, but the way they shaped technology is different from each other. Both Gates and Jobs were seriously affected by technology, thus they dedicated whole their life for the technology. Since they started their careers at early stage of computer age and formed what are considered to be the two of the largest and most successful industry companies. It's hard to distinguish whether they formed the technology or vice reverse as nowadays their companies are what we consider technology. From the age of 13, Gates was showing off his interest on computer programming at high school. He found himself at the right place at the right time while prominent out on his own, with his friend and business partner Paul Allen. Gates is the Co-founder and Chairman of Microsoft Corporation, which has been providing software services and solution that, helps businesses and personals to realize their full potential. Gates develops computer language name Altair 8080 PC that become the basic of Microsoft. He continuously exploits another two computer languages. Microsoft develops MS-DOS for IBM as soon as IBM develops their first PC. Gates adopts the change very fast due to his enthusiasm vision and hard working attitudes. In this process he became one of the richest men in the world as well as a well known successful leader in the world of business. For another, Steve Jobs was a rebel who built illegal blue boxes and spent his youthful energies pulling pranks that repeatedly got him suspended from high school. He was not a technical genius, but he had an intuitive sense of design and usability, and an almost improvisational approach to business decisions. Strategic and adaptive leadership is advocated by the changing external conditions and different types of organisation.
