Project Preparation:

• Initial project planning

During this phase, SHOE company need to decide what resources will be required to complete the implementation project, as well as set budget and deadline. A project team is formed during this step, assign right people to the write stage is a critical success factor.

• Project procedures and standard

This process ensures the final project meets it the company’s needs and things run in a right track.

• SCM background

In order to lower levels of inventory and shorter products life cycle, we firstly need to know the background of the company’s supplier chain, to see where can be improved.

• Information management (project preparation phase)

Collect all the information needed for this project, find out the useful and useless information. To see where the data can be added, deleted, checked, and updated, in order to improve accuracy, availability, and visibility of information.

• Training plans

SHOE company need to have a roughly plan for end-user training. Because when the project ends and new system implemented, it is necessary to ensure staff or users can use the new system.

Business Blueprint

• General Project Management (Blueprint phase)

This is a critical success factor in implementation of a project. In Blueprint phase, the manager sets the objectives and determines what actions should be taken to accomplish the requirements.

• Development Procedures and Requirements

In preparation phases, we already sort out the requirements for this project, in this phase; we need to find out solutions to meet the requirements.

• Development Supply Chain Management

Find a nearby, quality supplier so that the transferable time is saved. Also find other method to develop the supply chain process to meet the requirements.

• Financial performance management (Blueprint phase)

The new system need to be completed within a reasonable cost. Develop an acceptable financial statement to control all the cost, make sure every step within the budget.

• Delivery performance management (Blueprint phase)

One of the requirements is to improve delivery performance. So a delivery performance management is needed. The system must consider how to perfect the delivery performance by using different method, such as shorten the delivery time, using bigger truck to transfer inventory.
