Introduction

This report consists of the answers of two questions. In the first question I’m talking about why should be marketing ethical and in the second question I’m focusing on how an organization can engage in sustainable development using main axis.  

Marketing Ethics are the principles and standards that define acceptable conduct in market place. When organizations are pressure to achieve their performance objectives unethical activities can be happened. Marketing Ethics concept first came in age in the 1990s.

A society can be benefited from marketing ethics, both in the long run and in the short run. And this concept has influenced companies to market their products in a more socially responsible way. Increasing trend of fair trade is an example for the impact of ethical marketing.  

In this report I have mentioned about unethical marketing practices of Wal-Mart and How Body Shop benefits through Ethical Marketing promotions. And finally I have talked about the key issues in Marketing Ethics.  

According to United Nations “Our Common Future report” Sustainable development has defined as "Development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Here I have focused on how an organization engages in sustainable development using three main axis. And at the end I have given five steps to engage in sustainable development for an organization.
