Social Responsibility
1. Social responsibility I believe could be a key factor in regard to how we want to successfully develop our company and product. The first obvious factor for our company is our economic responsibilities. As the main key of this subject is to be profitable, we will have to be able to find a solid balance in terms of our production to our sales output. Once we are able to figure out how to make a decent profit on our costs to our selling prices, only then will we be able to sustain in the market and hopefully be able to flourish as a company. In terms of legal responsibilities, we will make sure to abide by the law at all times. This will mean we will make sure not to infringe rights in regard to our competition and make our product to our standards, so we aren’t undercutting our customers. Considering that golf is such a growing game, we will make sure that we make our product to the standards of golf regulations. This will not only prevent people suspecting our product to be “sketchy”, but it will help build the integrity of this company simply by following the law. Our ethical responsibilities I feel are along the same lines of the legal responsibilities. But on top of following the law in regard to our product, we will make sure to treat our employees at an above average level considering all of their hard work that they put into this company. Lastly, we will be a good “corporate citizen” with our philanthropic responsibilities. This will happen by us being able to try to use recycled products in our development, and also we will do our best to participate in many different green marketing programs and possibly charity programs. With the involvement of these programs, consumers will realize that we aren’t just trying to make a good product for them, but we are also trying to help sustain a quality world around them.
