Stealth Marketing Vs Stealth Positioning

"So are the two interchangeable terms? Are they mutually exclusive? Or is there some overlap?".
I havent done a whole lot of research, but i'd like to share my understanding of the two and hopefully someone can correct me if i am wrong.
As per my crude understanding:
Positioning is basically a message/idea/impression that you want to convey to the consumer.
Marketing is the means of getting that message or idea across to the consumer.
Thus stealth marketing are 2 different concepts and not interchangeable.
Subsequently, there are various methods/strategies to position a product and multiple ways to market it as well. These can be combined in any combination as the marketer sees fit. i.e stealth marketing with straightforward positioning, stealth positioning with straightforward marketing,straightforward marketing and positioning or even stealth positioning with stealth marketing.
Thus stealth marketing and stealth positioning can exist without the other or even coexist . i.e. there can be an overlap.
you gave some great examples for stealth marketing in the absence of stealth positioning, and stealth positioning in the absence of stealth marketing. I would like to contribute with another instance where i believe stealth marketing and stealth positioning coexist. Taking the example of cigarettes, In many movies, we often find the hero smoking cigarettes. This portrays a "cool","badass" image which is associated with cigarettes.
Firstly, cigarettes are being advertised or marketed to the viewers indirectly, through percieved endorsement by the protagonist/lead (stealth marketing). Secondly it is positioning cigarette smoking as a style statement rather than
