Decision support system can be used to guide or assist in monitoring or implementing constant changes such as graphs, tables, etc.
d). Operational decisions and Managerial decisions are structured. Meanwhile, strategic information is unstructured. The decisions are unstructured because the restaurant needs to answer questions such as “What will be the profit if I take a decision?”, etc. In other words, many parameters will be involved in making a decision. The decision itself would comprise of a thorough judgements and analysis. For example, opening new branch would require the following information: Impact on current branch, pricing in new branch, competition in new location and profitability of new branch (Ask Dan, 2014). Decision support systems should be provided to guide or aid these decisions such as charts, graphs, etc. The overall purpose of decision support systems is to aid in strategic, unstructured decision making.
e). In managing operational decisions, automated system such as IT software can be used to track sales from suppliers. Consider a purchase order that moves through various departments for authorization. When all authorizations are obtained, requester of the purchase is notified and given the authorization (Bass, B. 2014). Furthermore, the software can also be used to monitor and review constant changes. For example, when the restaurant decides to close down its existing menu and to replace with a new one, the software needs to change automatically the ingredients or order for the new menu and delete the existing order for the old menu.

- Speak appropriately to customers and maintain a well etiquette manner.

Customer comment cards or questionnaires can be used as an information system to monitor performance of each member in regards to his or her customer service skill. Online order sales can be used to improve efficiency in delivering services. Online order sales can also act as an information system to provide easier access for customers and allow them to conveniently browse and order from the restaurant’s menu.
