In order to succeed in the India mobile phone market Bharti Airtel should concentrate on growth strategy via implementation of these crucial aspects:
➢ To obtain mobile licenses in India’s all 23 mobile operating circles & obtaining fixed line licenses as well by studying the potential market.
➢ To launch more national and international long distance service similar to Bharti-SingTel.
➢ Efficient capacity utilization of available telecom set- up.
➢ Use better traffic estimation models to predict capacity of different network configurations.
➢ Have an effective & efficient process of planning-tendering-financing- purchasing-installing in order to reduce time-to-market.
➢ Manage to sustain economies of scale (to tackle competition) by using their large network.
➢ To focus on ARPU (Avg. monthly revenue per customer unit) Value added services.
➢ Venture into Acquisitions - Increasing customer base.
➢ Offer new products (billing plans) and services.
