Executive Summary
In the world we are living today, terrorism has become one of the greatest risks in all the parts of the world. Most of these terror attacks targets places where there are multitudes of people, especially in the mega events. These events comprise of major sporting activities such as the Olympics and world cup, entertainment events, and many other occasions. Such major events attract the high risk of being attacked by terrorists hence the need to come up with measures that will minimize and eradicate this threat once and for all. The primary purpose of this report is to come up with rules and methods to be used by the government and other anti-terror organizations in controlling and reducing terror cases (Turner, 1982). Moreover, we have a discussed why many people join the terror, group. To eradicate terrorism, we must first identify what leads people to join terrorism.
Pointing out the root causes of terror will allow the law enforcement agents and anti-terror unit to pay much attention to terrorism at the formation instead of fighting those who have recruited and radicalized. To ensure there is a successful model for mega events. There must be, an excellence service that mostly majors at the amount of time taken at the gateway before spectators are allowed in (UNEP: United Nations Environment Program 2009). Maintain a polite language with the participants, background information on the kind of staff serving in that event and most importantly excellent teamwork between the security officers in charge.
