The independence between culture and innovation
In this session I have learned that culture has a positive influence on innovation in terms of business growth and it is an indispensable aspect of success of a company.
Culture is the backbone if innovation
Giving varies examples for the term of culture, the evolution theory of the human being shows quite descriptive the development of culture during millions of years. A groundbreaking progress could be reached through development of language. Communication was and still is the tool and a driver for innovation. With the same language our ancestors were able to communicate with the members of the group and hence also developing helpful tools, ar-range hunting strategies and fly to the moon. In the millions of years the progress of innova-tion was unstoppable and the world, we are living in, is still changing.
Communication is the key of success
I have learned in the session, especially in the group work, that communication is so strongly connected to the process of innovation. The permanent procedure of communication, when people are sitting together, is leading to new aspects, perspectives and to new ideas which are responsible for innovation. The short movie about Google’s corporate culture showed exactly this case. In this corporate culture is space to live and to get inspired of your work and of the other employees. This showed me that good environment and communication is crucial for a vivid corporate culture.
