With respect to your request for a report suggesting immediate course of action concerning the crisis created by the Salmonella contaminated sea-food stuffed pasta at Southern Pasta Company. A report has been enclosed which states the core problem, appropriate options available for Mike and their criteria for evaluation, and final recommendation. It is suggested that Mr Mike Valenti should call the clients and brief them about the contaminated pasta.

Executive Summary
Mr. Mike Valenti came to know that a salmonella contaminated batch has been delivered to an important client. Southern Pasta Company has made Mike’s company the major player and thus it is important to be the main source of supply to its important clients.
Mike has to take decision on solving the current problem, but also address the clash of culture of the two companies. It is recommended to call the restaurants and address the present issue and the root problem.
