The Personal Code of Conduct Paper
In my standpoint, an excellent trust management specialist could not only benefit the clients but also benefit the employer positively. On contrary, if a trust management specialist does not have some certain traits that are necessary during the job, he or she may not provide proper service to the clients,.Ultimately, he or she may destroy the fame of the employer and the interest of the clients.
Among all these traits, I believe integrity is one of the most important traits that could influence the behaviour of the trust management specialist. I have this kind of trait that could help me to behave properly during my job.During my past work, I could have access to material nonpublic information frequently,. But I never misuse this kind of information and make full efforts to prevent the transfer and misuse of material nonpublic information among colleagues.I believe that inside information may lead to short-term profits but would ultimately influence the capital market negatively.So it is my duty as a CFA candidate and trust management specialist to avoid the use of material nonpublic information to boost the fair competition and professional investment in capital market. Furthermore, If I realize some information is material, I would make reasonable efforts to encourage the company to make the information public. If public dissemination is not possible, I would not take any investment action on the basis of the information.
Integrity also means that I would never involve in market manipulation that would also destroy people's confidence to capital market.False trading and manipulative sales practices would temporally enhance the performance of the investment, but would distort the order of the capital market in the long run, thus would ultimately lower the confidence of the clients.
