Training team members and managers is essential to building and maintaining the right member experience that supports our brand. Crafting a strategy that engages team members and drives long-term results requires planning, commitment and perseverance. This document, the Training Strategy and Approach, is designed to outline how we will provide team members with the training necessary to perform their roles. It is a formal methodology for successful team member integration and support of ongoing performance. Successful execution of this strategy will support improving team member productivity, lowering team member turnover, increasing team member engagement and strengthening member loyalty.
This document establishes the holistic strategy for the development and delivery of training required. It is a living document and as such, details of this approach will be adjusted as needed to reflect changes or improvements to the strategy or approach.
The primary goal of the training program is to provide new Team Members with the core and functional skill building required to perform their job functions while ensuring there is minimal disruption to business productivity.
Provide training needed to prepare TMs to quickly perform in new roles
Look for opportunities to leverage existing meetings or programs to deliver training (i.e. GM weekly meeting, audit training, etc)
Build training approach that better compliments Club environment
Provide Team Members with a foundation for continuous skills development and improvement based on performance expectations
Train on what is needed to perform job effectively. Match required training & learning objectives to pre-defined expectations that tie to performance
