Viewpoints Paper

There is a system of viewpoint points and each brings its own uniqueness to the system. In this system there are three parts to it and each being just as important as the other. The view point that I chose to write about Is Quality-Management Viewpoint, this viewpoint consists of quality control, quality assurance, and especially the movement of total quality management (TQM). With each step being just as important as the others I feel that Quality-Management Viewpoint would be the key aspects that would use. “Three contemporary management perspectives are (1) the systems, (2) the contingency, and (3) the quality-management viewpoints. The systems viewpoint sees organizations as a system, either open or closed, with inputs, outputs, transformation processes, and feedback.” (Kaninki, A, Williams, B. 2016.)

Although there are three parts to the system and some may think that there is no one part that is important than others the reason I decided with the Quality-Management Viewpoint is it always have to be operating smoothly to be officiant and have almost no errors. Quality of a product is huge for a company, especially if you are a small company just starting out. Of course you are going to want to minimize your errors so that it will in turn increase your profit margins. If a company is in its infant stage and they continuously have to correct issues with their products, it can potentially cause that company to close just as fast as it opened. When the amount of error and mishaps are reduced it allows the product to release faster and also prevent a large amount of returns. Arthur Hailey an author of the book “Wheels” advised people to never buy cars that were assembled of Mondays and Fridays because he felt that they suffered from poor quality work on those days. Although that would be tough to do in this day and age it presented and valid point that cars that were built on these days would suffer from workers minds being elsewhere. American car companies suffered from the lack of quality control and it opened the doors for many foreign manufacturers.in my opinion quality is everything and the process to ensure that the quality is intact is very important not only to the business but also its customers.
