The recent bribery allegations have threatened Wal-Mart de Mexico’s growth negatively and the problem must be solved. In my opinion, the best course of action to deal with this problem is to make the results of the investigation public, and take appropriate action against the executives involved in the bribery schemes. The most important thing is that we do not worsen the problem by continuing to cover it up and act like nothing happened. If we do not own up to the allegations and take the necessary actions against those involved, then we could lose a considerable amount of business. However, as we work to solve the problem customers will see that we are taking responsibility for our actions and are working to make it better.

The decisions employees of Wal-Mart de Mexico made are serious enough that they deserve legal discourse.
