Abortions
Abortion, such a strong word. What do you think about abortions? Do you think it is right or wrong? Well, I believe it is wrong. A long time back one of my close friends got pregnant by a man, she did not want to have a baby with, being she was irresponsible in the first place and did not use protection she chose to do the unthinkable and have an abortion. In my eyes, she killed a part of herself. In my opinion, she committed murder! All she had to do was to use protection. An estimated forty-two million abortions are preformed annually. It is legal to have an abortion, but I strongly think there should be a law prohibiting abortions unless the woman qualifies for it. Especially in a case of the pregnancy being your fault. I believe in only one situation is it possibly okay to abort a fetus. That situation is being raped.
First of all, unprotected sex is by choice. If a man or women are ignorant enough to have sex out of wedlock, unprotected, it is their responsibility to deal with the outcome, whatever that might be. Many young loves think it is okay to have unprotected sex. This is where the parents should have taught them the importance of safe sex. Teen pregnancy is a problem because most of the time it ends with abortions. How can a child raise a child?
Many people believe it is murder to have an abortion I am one of those many. Murder! Hard words? The definition of abortion is the termination of pregnancy by the removal or expulsion of a fetus or embryo from the uterus, resulting in its “death.” Yes, murder! I would not take the life of my grown children, so why would I kill the poor, innocent, sweet baby growing in my womb? If I were born of someone who thought about aborting me, I would thank God everyday for changing their minds whether they kept me or adopted me to a less fortunate family. Why not have the baby and adopt it out to someone that cannot have children and wants one? Abortion is one of the most common medical procedures
