Never was this hard for me to write my thoughts

I guess this shows the battle going inside my heart

I miss your character, I miss your lies, I miss your act

I miss that moment, where next to you I sat

And gently you placed your arms around my waist

Happily believing that laying in your arms, is going to be my fate

You are an actor, a professional I must say

Your act was so believable that made me want to forever stay

Stay next to you, and gladly walk towards you all dressed in white

But this dream vanished as soon as you went out of sight

You disappeared, hiding behind the curtains of your life

As the unspoken truth was revealed about the misfortunate wife

I feel sorry for her, she signed on the contract of her doom

I am sure she doesn’t even have a clue of the truth of her groom

She is ignorant, naïve just as I was when I thought you were true

I shall thank God for his mercy on me, showing me the real you

I know one day, your bitter medicine you shall taste

God won’t let the pain of a pure heart go a waste

What goes around comes around my dear

I am not cruel as you, but no more shedding tears
