Have you ever heard of a woman who is so brave that she will do anything to get what she desires? Antigone also knows that she is doing the right thing by following God's moral law code over Creon's. After she is caught burying her brother Creon speaks to her about what she has done wrong and she tells him, "Your edict, king, was strong, but all your strength is weakness against the immortal unrecorded laws of god." (Sophocles 1035). This quote shows that Antigone is brave because she knows that Creon will punish her but she knows that she is doing the right thing by following Gods law over Creon's. Antigone also shows courage because even though her sister Ismene
