Death is the reality that we human beings could never escape from. It’s not about long we live but it’s how we live as we left this world ahead of others. To our guests, fellow officers, military men, friends, ladies and gentlemen, a wonderful afternoon to all of you.

 As we endeavor this world full of trials, fears, angers, bitterness and sorrow we tend to escape and find our comfort zone. But God had given us the gift of freedom and what matter most is our decision in every situation that we are facing. And the decision of Sergeant Jones to join the noble of profession of arms to serve his countrymen is one of his best decisions he ever made. At times when we are in the field he never fails to remind me that God is always with us and we got nothing to fear of. He is one of a kind who cares and never leaves his companion especially in times of troubles and difficulties. He always shares his ideas and thoughts in every situation that we are into. He cautions me when I’ve gone too far. He opens his feelings and serves as the spoke person of his comrades. And I admired his courage of facing the consequences of all his actions. I could say that without this man I could not be an effective leaderjnjnj for the team. And he deserves the medal of valor that we are giving him for he had shown his sincerity and courage in this profession. Ladies and gentlemen let Sergeant Bernardo Jones live within us and let us share to others his deeds that it may inspire other lives so that we could see other Sergeant Jones serving our country.
