1 Executive Summary
Social change shapes our society. 50 years ago, roles were clearly defined: the father had to work and earned the livelihood of his family. The mother on the other hand, took care of household and the children. Over the years, these roles changed. Women have steady jobs and therefore they have less and less time for the education of their children and the pursuit of their own personal interests. According to recent statistics, in average 23 percent of the weekly leisure is spent on grocery shopping. Especially full-time em- ployees have less and less time for leisure and children remaining.1 Lopos was founded to respond precisely to these changes. We would like to produce fridges which order food at your fingertips. Therefore, your weekly buy-in is just only one fingertip away. Consequently, daily grocery shopping is a pleasure and also saves much time without stress. The intelligent fridge - iFridge - combines the ease of use of Apple products with the reliability of Bosch fridges.
