Nowadays, children’s safety is believed as a significant problem. Some people think that danger should not be showed in kids’ world so that children will not face a threat of risky affairs. This essay will firstly describe the benefits and shortcomings of this statement and then outline my personal views of it.
Definitely children ought to live in a relatively safe environment which avoid all risks. It means that they will not consider too much about dangerous things and leads to a peaceful life. Moreover, this way decreases effectively the chances to try or approach that risks. For example, if kids saw people doing motorbike riding, they would possibly think it is exciting and cool thing to learn, which may result in some serious accidents. In addition, government hope to drop the possibility of smoking through limiting the advertisement, and eventually make a good influence on children even adults.
However, avoiding risks also has the boundlessness. On the one hand, it does not mean that children will never touch such perilous things throughout their whole lives. As they gradually grow up, all of them will know this world by themselves. In the meanwhile, they will make choices on their own. On the other hand, although they are young, they are all independent individuals, which implies that any decisions should be controlled and understood. For instance, a kid who is interested in horse-riding should give adequate support, and it may achieve being a excellent rider.
Despite the above arguments, I believe that children should learn by attempting new things. Once they got hurt, they would stop doing that next time. But if they still feel it is interesting or curious on them, of course they can try. That is their own way, no one can teach them all the time.
In conclusion, there is no doubt that it is kind for governments and parents to protect their kids to be safe. However, absorbing experiences by themselves will also be a vital lesson in their life.
