Plot: Teaming up with Amy and Rory, the newly Regenerated Doctor goes on an adventure to defeat an invasion by the Vashta Nerada in 1950, who were unleashed by The Rani, The War Chief
Part 1:
"Oh yes, of course. I suppose it makes sense. Wearing a bit thin." said the old warrior. He began to see the memories fade, all the memories of his future selves. Of the fact that he didn't burn his people to the ground, that he saved them. and the fact that he WAS the Doctor again. He had redeemed himself, even in the eyes of the 2 men that regretted the old warrior's very exsistence. But he was give a 400 year punishment for even thinking about genocide. "I hope the ears are a little bit less conspicous this time." He felt it, the energy surge through his body, renewing himself, giving him new life. After this he would have to deal with pain for 400 years, but soon, he would be the Doctor again. The regeneration took full force. Rebirth of the Doctor had happened at last. Great men are forged in fire. It was time for the great man to rise from the ashes. And suddenly, The Doctor looked around him. Strange. Everything was a different color, a different sound, a different smell. Even his teeth had changed. His head began to spin and ache, and he almost collapsed, holding onto the console, looking down at it.
He looked back up and spoke with his new voice, "They do say history repeats itself," the bewildered man began to touch the levers on the console, "well an entire universe is waiting for the new me. Where do I start?"
And suddenly: a big flash of light, a loud noise, and the Doctor was lying on the floor, the console in flames, the coral stands broken, and broken wires failing about, "OH FANTASTIC!" . "OH NO NOT THE ROUND THINGS!" exclaimed The Doctor, as the Roundels exploded one by one. The Cloister Bells rang, as the de-materialization sound went on. "I didn't do that." The Doctor checked the remains of the computer. Through the cracks of the screen, The Doctor could make out 'London, England, Earth, March 5th 2005'. "I didn't put that in....what's happening?".
The de-materialization noise stopped as the TARDIS landed. The Doctor sighed, took off his scarf, placed his leather jacket on the broken coat hanger, and ripped off his belt. The same belt Kass had given him.
'Stop it!' thought The Doctor, 'her fate was her decision, and her's alone. No more thoughts of guilt over her death.....no........more.'
He patted the beaten down console, "Now you old, beaten down thing, what do you have for me this time?" The Doctor went outside, and right away, standing a few feet off was a young man. 'That's Strange,' thought The Doctor, 'he looks familiar.' His features were off. He had long floppy hair, a massive, prominent chin, and even more interesting, a lack of eyebrows. He wore a purple coat, and laced shoes, and a polka-dot bow tie. The Doctor would've completely ignored the young man and carried on with his adventure, had it not been for one thing. The young man was leaning against a police box. A very familiar looking police box.
'A 1950's London police box in 2005?' thought The Doctor. The man standing in from of him began to talk. "Hello again, Captain Grumpy."
