Dear Mr. Harvey

I am writing to you this letter because I have a concern about students like myself wearing hats and hoods inside classrooms. I think that taking our hats or hoods off only in class is pointless when we are allowed to wear them through the halls and in the tech rooms. I don’t find hats being offensive to anyone in any way. Lots of people like to wear hats and should be allowed to wear them when they want and where they want to wear them same with hoodies.

I find hats of a symbol of who you are or what you like, but not everyone like to wear hats witch I understand but why can’t the people who like hats wear them whenever they want where ever they want. Hats have been around for a long time and there are a lot of fans of hats and like to wear them what if you told them they are not allowed to wear hats or hoods at a baseball game or at a mall or even on a hot sunny day outside.

 Hats also provide nice comfort and warmth for your head even though it is not cold in the school still feels to have your head warmer then it is in the building and on a hot day in the summer it feels amazing to wear a hat that reflects the sun off it make you feel 100 times cooler and your head dose not heat up and lots of heat to your head can cause you to have a heat stroke witch happened to my friend even though he was drinking a lot of water the sun was just too strong for him and caused him to have a heat stroke if he have worn a hat that day then he could have prevented having a heat stroke.

Hats are also amazing because when you wake up late in the morning and don’t have time to make your hair look good or rather choose more sleep over what your hair looks like or just too lazy to do it just put a hat on and don’t take it off and no one can tell that your hair looks bad till you take your hat off witch really annoys me. I don’t know what to do with my hair or how to make it look good and don’t want to be looking like everyone else. Even with everyone wearing hats everyone will be different because all hats are different and there is a massive choice of hats and there are different types of hats and styles.
