INDIAN AVIATION INDUSTRY
India one of the fastest growing economies and the aviation sector also plays an important part in this development. The aviation sector not only helps in commuting but also provides business to the country through tourism. The Indian aviation industry is rapidly growing and many new players have emerged in the last 2 decades. According to the IBEF (Indian Brand Equity Foundation) report, Indian aviation industry is the ninth largest aviation market globally. It annually caters to around 121 million domestic and 41 million international passengers.
The Indian industry is dominated by 5 major players viz. IndiGo, Jet Airways, Air India, SpiceJet, and Go Air (in the decreasing order of the market share).
This report focusses on analyzing the aviation sector, to find out the factors which are important to succeed in this sector. For the research, we have selected three major players viz. IndiGo, Jet Airways and SpiceJet.
PROJECT REPORT
The project report focusses to find out the success mantra for the BRAND in the Indian Aviation Industry. We have tried to compare three major brands in the domestic aviation industry.
For the requirements of the project, we have collected the data by performing online questionnaire. The questionnaire has been included in the Appendix at the end of the report. The target audience for collecting data has been the IIM-A community. In total, the total number of respondents to the questionnaire were 107 out of which 105 have flown through one or the other airlines.
