Killing Innocent People

Good afternoon Mr. /Madam chairman, ladies and gentlemen

The first negative speaker has tried to tell you that it its protects from evil forces

This is wrong because it can cause war and killing innocent people.

The second negative speaker has tried to tell you that it leads to production of more weapons

This is wrong because terrorists don’t have much nuclear weapons, if nuclear weapons is abolished it will be hard for the country to defend them self.

The affirmative team believe that this statement is false because it might cause war and destruction to the structures in the country and it will kill innocent kids and families.

The affirmative team beliefs that it should be banned in overall because it will affect the environment and the people inside the country and can decrease population.

Our first speaker has spoken to you about that it could be led to the wrong hands which means wrong people, and that if it is then that wrong person could be a crazy person who can have the authorization to do anything with that bomb and use it in a wrong way.

He has also said that people will get sick from nuclear waste because of the air that is spread and young kids will breathe in that air that is polluted in the country and it will decrease population.

Our second speaker told you that it can have impact on innocent kids and families, the population will decrease because of the nuclear weapons that is dropped in the country, the child could lose their parents or parents could lose their kids too.

He also said that it can cause environmental issue which means people can die from it, and it is impacted on the environment socially and economically and can reduce the food production in many factories.

Now my first point is

If nuclear is abolished, it will create world peace. If all the nuclear weapons in the world were abolished we would create a more peaceful world. The argument that only rouge nations would have them is completely invalid because why do you think other nations are building nukes? Because the United States has over 2,000!! North Korea and Iran are making one and we are freaking out. Look at it from their point of view, there is a foreign country that has 2,000 nukes and is threatening your way of life, so all you want is to try and protect yourself. If we disable our nukes, other countries will see no threat and disable theirs as well.
