Memorable Moment

It was the month of August. Summer!. Every one was super excited and just wanted to party. So, we headed down to the beach to have some fun! The high tide was in and as expected before I "had fun" I was to make sure that everyone was comfortable, had towels and e.t.c . I was just about to plunge into the salty warm water when I heard loud cries about a hundred yards away. People on the shore cried, "Amelia is drowning. Save her, save her." At once I went to the spot where all the commotion was taking place . I heard that a friend of mine; of about fifteen year of age had been carried away by the current and the tides were overpowering her. Nobody dared to rescue her. I thought that I should save the helpless Amelia. But, my limbs refused to move. I was in "shock mode". I had no idea what to do. My mind was telling me that since I had won a few medals in swimming I was "good enough" to save her but, my minute body frame was unable to see itself rescuing someone who was about 10kgs more than it.
As I was debating with myself whether to go in or not someone just ran past me. He did not look familiar at all but I was just glad someone decide to take the chance and see if they could be a hero. When the unknown man ran passed me, I knew It was wrong but I seemed to forget all about poor Amelia and just gazed at the muscular hunk that just brushed his shoulder on me as he ran past me.
Amelia was about fifty yards away from the bank. She was struggling hard, but in vain. "Hunk" went near Amelia. Amelia trying to get hold of "Hunk". It looked like if she did they both might have drowned. So "Hunk" did not allow her to get hold of him.( Thank God) But when he finally got hold of her hand he pulled Amelia and swam towards the shore against the strong current.( Oh my his muscles!)
