My Best Travel Experience

The dream becomes reality. During my summer time, I had the opportunity to visit America, the land of freedom. A place that is completely a new world to me.

After I have passed the interview, submitted all the requirements, granted a J-1 Visa, purchased ticket, all is set and I am now ready fly across the globe and be ready to be away from my motherland.

I had three connecting flights before reaching my final destination. My flight from Manila to Guam was my very first time to ride an airplane. At first, I was nervous especially in the take-off, but after a few minutes, I probably get used to it. Next flight was from Guam to Tokyo. Then, from Tokyo to San Francisco which took us about 7 hours before we get to Seattle.

There are also trail stations that are operating. The buildings are also incredible in sight especially the famous landmark of Seattle, the Space Needle. I was awestruck when we had an opportunity to be on the top of the 605 feet tower. I could hold the entire city in my hand from that view. I will never forget that experience.

The job is consist of Cutting, deboning, lifting, weighing, sorting and canning of Red salmon. All workers should complete their respective shift. We should be working 16-hours a day. It was tiring, but every time I complete a shift I feel that it’s an accomplishment. I am trained to wake up early, to prepare myself for a limited time.
