About a month ago I went with my cousin to the mall to buy a gift for my frined's birthday. After shopping I suggested to my cousin that we sit in a coffee shop because it had been a long day. When we sat in the coffee shop I heared two teenagers talking about a show called "Pretty Little Liars". They were mentioning someone called A, and that they want to know who A is. I was really lost I didn't know what they were talking about. I asked my cousin if she knows the show, she told me that it's a great show to watch but she didn't tell me the details. I was curious to know who A is even though I didn't know anything about the show.

The beginning of the show starts with lies. The show explains how the four teenage girls are struggling with their friend's disappearance. They start by lying to their parents by telling them lies about the place they are going to, just to meet together and investigate about their friend's disappearance. The second lie I discovered from the show is the girl Aria, whom lied to her parents about the guy she is dating, her English teacher Ezra. It influences teenage girl by sending a wrong message to them. It teaches the teenage girl that they can have whatever they want, by lying to their parents and dating the wrong person. She signed up for a pottery class just to have an excuse to see Ezra. During one of the episodes, when Aria's parents find out about her relationship, which they didn't accept, she confronted her father and tells him that she can have him fired from his job if he would stop her loving Ezra. This sends the message that teenage girls should be stronger than their parents to get what they want. There is also another negative message the show is sending, when another teenage girl "Spencer" steals her sister's boyfriend, which is a very wrong message to send.
