I passed my senior school certification in 1992 following which, I spent one year studying and applying for various engineering entrance exams. Unfortunately, I could not succeed in getting through a reputable institution. I did not opt for private colleges available through the capitation route and finally sought and was granted admission to the BHU commerce faculty through its common university entrance in 1993 after having unsuccessfully chased the elusive B.Tech for a year in between.

In 1996, my final year of graduation, I met with a near fatal road accident that caused a severe hemorrhage in the face and kept me away from both my classes and my final year examination. I could only sit my graduation test the following year in 1997.

While these were serious debacles, I learned to move on and persevere. Today, my solace lies in the fact that I have been able to partly compensate for lost time through an accelerated professional career that is replete with outstanding contribution, diverse learning, large responsibilities and consequently, quicker progression.

My aim is to compliment my extensive professional experience with a tier one management program that helps me hone my skills in strategy and general management and invigorates me with an in-class exposure to the cross cultural and multi industry experience of co-participants in my cohort.

I was born and brought up in a home that gave me everything I needed without the usual ostentations of wealth or the misplaced luxury of taking things for granted. Ours has been a home with deep rooted traditional and cultural orientations without being orthodox or fundamentalist in nature. Such an upbringing replete with care, love, support and guidance inculcated some inherent values and strengths in my character as a child and while growing up as an adolescent.
