A relationship between two people can have very different meanings. In some relationships such as two lovers, they can also be best friends because they share good communication. A relationship between a two strangers has a special bond because It is able to strongly impact your life in a positive way. However, there are times when a relationship can go bad because there is no understanding, lack of communication, and just simply because of the actions of one person in that relationship. In the movie The Pianist by Roman Polanski these aspects of relationships are clearly evident as the movie shows the positive and negative effects of various relationships. I believe that relationships are needed in life but life shouldn't depend on them.
Relationships do not have to be very strong for them to have a significant impact in your life. The Polish Jew musician named Wladyslaw Szpilman in the movie The Pianist did not know the German Captain, Cpt William Hasenfeld at all but the Captain still aided him in the time of his need. From this we can see that the relationship between the two people was very weak. I think this still had a impact on the musicians life because due to this relationship he was helped in his time of need. When I was young my dad received some help in getting me a bike. The person who he received help from was someone he did not really know. This relationship between my dad and that man was very weak. Although it did help him achieve something that otherwise might have been time consuming. I think that even though most relationships are not the strongest, some can be significant in some point of your life.
Certain relationships are not always beneficial or needed throughout your life. You should not depend on certain people to always do what they should do. Szpilman in the movie The Pianist was exploited and deceived by a German who worked in the radio station. Szpilman thought that he had another new friend that he could count on that would bring food for him. The man ultimately in the end used the money for his own benefit. From this we can see that the relationship was more horrible between the two people as the intentions
