This study is significant and helpful into various organization and the citizens of the republic of the Philippines in working toward a safe and progressive society.

Bureau of Fire Protection. The result of this study will contribute to the BFP on how to improve the standard of the Bureau of Fire Protection and their services, to promote the vision of a modern fire protection agency working towards a safe and progressive society.

Municipal and LGU heads. The findings of the study will give an insight to the Local government on how to improve the services of the fire department and support the fire fighters local or national to improve the fire safety of the municipality .

Public and Private Sector. The outcome of the study is beneficial to the public and private sector and non-government organization to promote fire safety awareness in the implementation of RA 9514 Fire code of the Philippines. The participation of the public and private sector is essential in promoting fire safety to promote economic development. 5. Shall establish at least one ( 1 ) fire station with adequate personnel, firefighting facilities and equipment in every provincial capital, city and municipality subject to standard rules and regulations as maybe promulgated by the DILG.

THE PROBLEM

This study will assess the level of effectiveness of the BFP Fire Prevention Program of Dalaguete Cebu for SY 2014 as basis for an enhanced fire prevention program.
