Self Defense

Well my topic is about self-defense, and I am basically for self defense because I think it's really useful to our country and our cities. Also it helps us for many things which I'm going to explain later on my essay right now I just telling you about self-defense and also the definition of self-defense is 1.

the act of defending one's person when physically attacked, as by countering blows or overcoming an assailant: the art of self-defense.

a claim or plea that the use of force or injuring or killing another was necessary in defending one's own person from physical attack: He shot the man who was trying to stab him and pleaded self-defense at the murder trial.

an act or instance of defending or protecting one's own interests, property, ideas, etc., as by argument or strategy.

Now we need self-defense for many thing like, let's say you're being attack you're not just going to stand there and let him mug you and who knows probably kill you. No! You are going to fight for your life and you don't want to get hurt right? So you are going to use self defense to save your life. And now you kind of get an idea why we need self-defense.

Also let's say in schools there's bully's there so if you're a weakly and a bully just wants to come and fight with you what do you do now? You are going to try to run, and now he's faster so there's nothing else to do. no you do have something to do and that is tell a teacher, but let's say he does not stop and the teacher is not going to be there and save you so you have to use self-defense and fight back and try to save you self. so that's another reason we need self-defense.
