The continuous evolution in technology has given many surprises, by making our lives easier, by making our dream gadgets come true. One of the mentionable gadgets is cell phone. Cell phones have been one of the most wanted electronic devices for the last many years. The cell phone companies are competing neck to neck in order to gain as much popularity as possible, which has led the cell phone industry to enter a new dimension. That is "Smartphones". Smartphones are not only used to call, text, send or receive images and video messaging, they offer more advanced computing ability and connectivity. They are typically upgraded to view and sometimes edit documents for example "Microsoft Office" to, as far as syncing with the email server of a personal or corporate provider. In order to do all this, the smartphones need to have an operating system. The two most competing operating systems on which most of the cell phones run on are "Symbian OS" and Google's "Android". Although Android has been new to the market but it has successfully managed to compete with its arch rival Symbian OS. Many cell phone users go for Symbian and many go for Android, which one will you prefer?
Cell phones, it is a technological blessing to many. With the fast movement of time, cell phone industries have entered a new dimension: ‘Smartphones'. By now many people have used smartphones and know that this intelligent device is not only used to make calls, texts, send or receive images and video messaging, they offer more advanced computing ability and connectivity.
These smartphones doesn't work all by itself. There is something that take care of all the commands made by its users and that is the operating system.
