Typical classroom in your country
In Vietnam, a typical classroom at high school is a little big difference from other countries. A normal classroom usually has 30 students. Each class has a main teacher, who will supervise us during that school year. In the classroom, there are two rows of tables and chairs. Each row has 5 tables. There are 3 students in each table. There is a teacher’s table and a black board in front of the student’s tables. On the teacher’s table, there is a teacher’s notebook, where other teachers will leave comments about student’s mistakes in their lesson as who go to class lately, who do not do homework, etc … We usually go to school 5 days a week, from Monday to Friday, from 7 A.M until 5 P.M, but there are 3 hours break in the midday. In the break hours, we often go back home and 1 P.M, we come back to school. The school year runs from September through May. Most school days begin with a mini test. The teacher calls on students to stand and answer questions about the previous lesson. We have to learn a lot of subjects and all of them are mandatory. They are : Vietnamese literature, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Civics, English or French, Technology, Information Technology and Physical education. We must wear uniform when go to school. In conclusion, base on what I know about other countries, I don’t think a typical classroom in Vietnam has many differences with others.
