5.1.1 Product
VFM classified as a first launch product in Malaysia. We focus to sell a good quality product inspired with the latest technology including the unique and innovative product. The main function of VFM is Auto-Calculating Body Measurement System. The mirror will detect the object that reflect to the mirror to auto-calculating the body measurement like eyes, face, shoulder, hands and all part of body. The 3D-MSMS will provide the data by tracking the respective user’s position and compute the customer’s body dimension and is ready for display in seconds. It is very useful especially for online retailer to reduce the postage cost of returning unsuitable size item and provide a more convenience way for user.
To carry out the function of the features above is needed a high technology of video camera to capture the data, which consist of 3D digitizing, sensing, computer graphics, and latest augmented reality (AR) technology. Augmented reality (AR) is a computer graphic technology that visualizes things that exist in the natural environment. The processor we used is much better than the normal processor. We call it as Intel 4th Gen. i7-6700k processor, aka the Core. It can process up to 580 FPS aka frame per second, it is twice faster than the normal 240 FPS. Therefore, that customer can try on multiple clothes at the same time. All the information of the products shown at the same time including the price, size, color and other fashion information. The mirror has a high resolution with the Ultra High Density (UHD) to display the object.
A Virtual Fitting Mirror can be controlled through touch solution and non-touch solution. For non-touch solution, the machine installed a 3D-Motion Sensing Matching System in the easier explanation we can called it as Motion Detector. This feature tracks the position and the gesture of the user. This feature is able to every single user to control the product without touching the screen.
For online business purpose, we design a barcode scanner feature that available for user to check in online retail store. User can now use QR code provided to link with online retail store to make order or add the items into wish list. Moreover, Virtual Fitting Mirrorcle has linked with the variety of social media such as Instagram and Facebook to let customers have a chance to share their outfit photo with friends and family easily. Customer can store photos and video with various background and effect.
5.1.2 Price
Based on my research, this product do have a market potential in Malaysia. Therefore, we decide to develop 2 types of build-in data storage of the product which are 1TB and 2TB to fulfill what customer needs. The pricing list at RM 6799 for 1TB and RM 6999 for 2TB. Mirrorcle use premium pricing for VFM as this pricing strategy helps maintain high-end image of the company and consumer more desirable. Our purpose is offering a combination of quality, price and service in order to build customer loyalty. On the collaboration with online business, Mirrorcle gain 10% of commission from every business transaction. This is because our company act as a third party with servicing Alibaba a free using on VFM to run their online business. Mirrorcle will only focus on providing services while all of the online business payments will done through Alipay.
