Survival Systems International

Survival Systems International is the only American company which manufactures survival safety capsules. Our company is privately owned and managed by both the owner and his son. Our owners have ultimate authority and are involved in every decision that is made for and about this company and they tell everyone what to do especially the managers and they give the department managers some authority to manage their employees.

Our company does not have board of directors and / or stockholders; the owners control every move and operation. They do operate as hierarchy and are very close to their top and senior members of the organization. They also have middle managers and lower level employees or the operational level of the organization. The middle managers delegation and oversee every one and every manufacturing operation and every employee is held accountable for their position and work.

Survival System is a centralized organization and the owners make a lot of the important decision that affect this company along with a lot of feedback and input from employees. We are not decentralized.

We work in a functional organization with a central purchasing, manufacturing, engineers and accounting departments are at one facility. We do have field offices, sales offices and marketing throughout the United States and several other countries with our latest office opening in Norway.

We do have a network organization of suppliers and customers who sell and buy our products. We have successful networks of companies that our flexible, innovative, and are enthusiastic for our business opportunities and have been for many years. We have our offices and plant within San Diego County for over 50 years and at one time this plant was open 24 hours a day and employed hundreds of employees.
