Different cultures have different uses for metaphors. In most of them metaphors are used in the literature world while writing books. The use of metaphors heavily depends on the languages that are spoken by the nations. In the Thai Kingdom, people mainly use the native language, and therefore, metaphors are widely used. The kingdom is well-known for posing rich history in the use of metaphors in different areas in the community. To achieve this, the song writers the metaphors to hide the unwanted information.
In Thailand culture, metaphors are also used to pass information. The metaphors have an inner meaning and this makes it easy for the people to use them to communicate hidden messages. For instance, when the aged are communicating to the young people, they mostly use the metaphors due to their ability to pass rich information in a simplified way. The aged also use metaphors to communicate with each other. In most cases, most of the aged people know metaphoric language much better than the youth, and therefore it is easy for them to communicate (Pallegoix, 2013).
