Beyond the crystal-like sea and the glistening moon, there lies the darkness within. As I walk towards the darkness, my heart started to splash beams of light to uncover its secrets. The light started to spread as I saw three doors that had words printed on top of each one; there were goals, loneliness and dream. I walked towards the doors to see what lies beneath.

The first door was broken and beat and there were parts of the door that was surrounding it. It had a little paper taped to it and the note read loneliness. I slowly gazed around to see if someone was looking, then continued to grab the knob of the door and turned it so that it will open. An exceedingly great light escaped from the door. Behind the door was a girl crying; she was so young and fragile. She did not seem to have any friends and she would just sit on the swing and tears would fall down her face like rain. She had no one to rely on, no one that could tell her that “It will be okay.” She suddenly came up to me and asked, “What is that light on your chest?” I glanced at it and there was still light, but it was bedimmed. I grew up without friends, no one I can play with, laugh with or talk to. I have gotten used to being alone, but every day, I prayed that I would have a friend, even just one.

I started first grade in Floridablanca Christian Academy where I have met these devious girls who have treated me like a servant. I was bullied; they called me names and beat me down until I start to cry. I would always go home and cry to my teddy bear to calm me down. I never asked for help, I would always go on my balcony and sing songs that I loved: Celine Dion songs. Then every time I come home, my brother and I would always fight. There was not a day where I would be drowned in my own tears, except when my dad comes home to visit me. I love my dad very much. He would always take me to arcades, buy me toys and take me out to eat delicious food. He was the “complete package”.

My dad once took me in a car ride where it was only the two of us and we started talking about my future. As he was staring at the street full of busy cars, he said “I want you
